There will no CAMBUS service at Mayflower Hall during the summer session because there will be no residents housed there.
The Softball Complex bus stop is scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 17. The stop will be relocated on 1st Avenue, near the entrance to the Softball Complex parking lot. The stop will receive all-day service from the Hawk Lot-Hospital and Hawkeye-Pentacrest routes. Due to the stop relocation, the Research Park route will not serve the Softball Complex stop.
Riders are required to wear a face mask on the bus. Driver barriers have been installed on buses to protect drivers and riders. Interior surfaces of the buses are sprayed with a disinfectant each night and wiped down. Each bus receives a UV light treatment to disinfect the interior every 24 to 48 hours.
CAMBUS has a passenger information system, Transit, that includes guided navigation and trip planning. Using the Transit app can help riders understand how to navigate the service beginning May 15, including walking directions and locating the nearest bus stop.
The Parking and Transportation Department is committed to promoting campus accessibility through mobility solutions for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors. In addition to fixed-route bus services, CAMBUS also operates a door-to-door paratransit bus service, called "Bionic Bus".
