CAMBUS Service Alert: Modified weekend routes on home football game days - Fall 2020

Some CAMBUS routes will have slight modifications on home football game days during the Fall 2020 season.  From the start of service on Saturdays, until about an hour after the game has ended, CAMBUS routes will be unable to serve the West Campus Transportation Center.

Home games include:

  • October 31 vs. Northwestern
  • November 7 vs. Michigan State
  • December 12 vs. Wisconsin

There will be no CAMBUS service during the home game on November 27 vs. Nebraska due to the holiday.

Route Modifications

Interdorm: there will no changes to the morning Interdorm route on football Saturdays

Red Route: Red Route will not serve the West Campus Transportation Center.  Red Route will serve a temporary stop at the corner of Hawkins and Evashevski before continuing on Hawkins to Elliott Drive.

Blue Route: Blue Route will not serve the West Campus Transportation Center.  After turning left on Hawkins from Elliott Drive, Blue Route will continue on Hawkins and serve a temporary stop at the corner of Hawkins and Evashevski.  Blue Route will then continue to Melrose.

Hawkeye Interdorm: Hawkeye Interdorm will not serve the West Campus Transportation Center.  When traveling to the Hawkeye Campus, Hawkeye Interdorm will proceed directly from Rienow to Mormon Trek via Melrose.  When returning from the Hawkeye Campus, Hawkeye Interdorm will continue on Hawkins, serving a temporary stop at Hawkins and Evashevski, before proceeding to Melrose.

Some delays are expected in service due to game day operations.  Riders are encouraged to use the mobile app, Transit, for live bus locations, departure predictions, and alerts.
