Parking notice: Hospital Parking Ramp 3 spaces designated for Parking Lot 80 permits beginning Dec. 7, 2020

Hospital Parking Ramp 3 spaces designated for Parking Lot 80 permits beginning Dec. 7, 2020

In response to permit holder feedback, spaces are being designed on the first through second level of Hospital Parking Ramp 3, Lot 80 for Parking Lot 80 permits. Beginning Dec. 7, only vehicles displaying a valid Parking Lot 80 permit may use these spaces weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The change is anticipated to also generally improve traffic flow throughout the facility.

During winter months and inclement weather, parking demand historically increases at Hospital Parking Ramp 3. This change will allow Parking Lot 80 permit holders to quickly find parking during these high utilization periods. Designating spaces for permit holders during the daytime should also improve public parking by funneling vehicles to available parking that is more likely to turn over throughout the daytime.

Designated spaces are located on the first level through second level and are clearly marked with signs stating, “Reserved Staff, Lot 80 Only”. Parking Lot 80 permit holders must clearly display their parking permit and park in the designated spaces to maintain adequate space for public parking.

  • Citations will be issued to vehicles parked in the designated spaces during the enforcement period – weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. - if not displaying a Parking Lot 80 permit.
  • Citations may be issued to Parking Lot 80 permit holders if parked outside of the designated spaces.
  • If entering HPR3 after 2 p.m. and exiting before 7:30 a.m., employees using Night Weekend Privileges may park in the spaces designated for Parking Lot 80 permits.
  • Parking Lot 80 permit holders with state issued ADA placards may continue to park in designated ADA stalls, outside of the specified Lot 80 reserved stalls.
