Employees who do not have a parking permit may park in Parking Lot 48 (Myrtle Avenue Lot), Parking Lot 55 (Hancher), or Parking Lot 65 (Finkbine Commuter). These parking lots are open parking and do not require any parking permit at this time.

Parking Lot 65, Finkbine will no longer be open to vehicles without a permit parking after Tuesday, May 12. Only permits for Parking Lots 65 and 85, Hawkeye will be honored in Parking Lot 65 beginning Tuesday, May 12.

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Parking and Transportation’s operations are focused on supporting the critical operations of UI Hospitals & Clinics and the university. The department will continue to evaluate and modify processes and operations in coordination with University of Iowa Critical Incident Management team and public health officials. Parking operations may quickly be adjusted in response to COVID-19.
