The University of Iowa is currently in the process of examining the rules and regulations that regulate the operation of dockless transportation services, including motorized scooter rental operations.  In the interim, the University has established a moratorium on all motorized scooter operations on University property. 

During the moratorium, the University’s Parking and Transportation Department and Department of Public Safety will enforce existing rules and regulations, and in appropriate cases, confiscate and impound offending motorized scooters.
