Finkbine Commuter Drive will be reconstructed in two phases from the Melrose Avenue entrance/exit to Lot 65 and to the Finkbine South bus stop. The parking lot entrance off Melrose Avenue will be closed during part of this project, and permit holders will need to enter and exit parking lots via Hawkins Drive. CAMBUS service to the Finkbine South bus stop will not be impacted.

This project will improve the road condition of Finkbine Commuter Drive and is part of our annual institutional road inspection and improvement process. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Impact

Phase 1: Monday, May 20 – mid-July

Vehicle and pedestrian access from Melrose Avenue to Parking Lots 65 and 75 will be closed beginning May 20 and is anticipated to reopen mid-July. Permit holders will need to enter their parking lot from Hawkins Drive through mid-July.

Note: This project may not modify your commute if you already access Parking Lot 65 or 75 from Hawkins Drive, but could cause delays due to heavier traffic on Hawkins Drive.

Phase 2: Mid-July – early August 2024

Vehicle and pedestrian access from Melrose Avenue will be available but will require detouring through Lot 65 until the project is complete in early August. An update will be provided when this phase begins with additional details.
