Cambus reasonable modification policy

Cambus is committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible services to its riders. Cambus makes reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, and procedures when the modifications are necessary to prevent discrimination and to provide access to programs and services for individuals with disabilities.

The Cambus programs and compliance coordinator is responsible for coordinating the transit system’s reasonable modification policy.

Request for a reasonable modification

To make a request for a reasonable modification, please call the programs and compliance coordinator at 319-467-1052 or email cambus-transit@uiowa.edu. Please include your name, contact information (including phone number), and the modification you are requesting to access services.

Complaints

To file a complaint regarding Cambus’ handling of reasonable modifications, please contact the Cambus manager.

In your complaint, please include your name, contact information (including phone number) and details of the issue. The Cambus manager will promptly communicate their response to the complaint allegations, including reason for the response.

Cambus alternative formats policy

Cambus is committed to providing service information in a format that is responsive to the needs of persons with disabilities. If Cambus information is needed in an alternative format, such as large print or braille, please submit a request to the Cambus programs and compliance coordinator.
