This page provides an overview of CAMBUS’ services for the current academic year. Services are subject to change based on serving the critical needs of the University of Iowa operations and the UI Health Care. Riders are encouraged to use the following methods to stay up-to-date of service news:

Terminology:
"Academic" refers to service days during the fall and spring semesters, when the university is holding classes.
"Break" refers to service days during university breaks in an academic session, such as Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break. It also refers to the winter break period between the end of fall semester and the beginning of spring semester. Some route schedules change during break periods, and some routes are suspended. CAMBUS does not operate weekend service during periods identified as "Break service".
"Summer" refers to service days operated between the end of the spring semester and the start of the fall semester. Summer service typically resembles break service with some changes.

Transit
Riders are encouraged to use the mobile app, Transit, for CAMBUS services. Riders can view live departure information, real-time bus locations, and plan trips across CAMBUS, Iowa City Transit, and Coralville Transit. Users can also subscribe to alerts for detours, inclement weather, and service changes.

Accessibility
The Parking and Transportation Department is committed to promoting campus accessibility through mobility solutions for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
