About the Program
The Parking and Transportation Department has partnered with the Eastern Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) to provide discounted bus passes on 380 Express. Current University of Iowa faculty and staff employed 50% or greater and all students can purchase one-way, 10-ride or monthly-unlimited passes using the Token Transit app.
Purchase a Discounted Bus Pass
Discounted university passes can only be purchased using the Token Transit app. Passes are non-refundable, so riders should purchase passes as needed to avoid passes expiring.

Purchase a Discounted Bus Pass
- Click “380 Express” button to visit the University 380 Express bus pass portal.
- Login with your Hawk ID and password.
- Copy your unique coupon code and click the Continue to Purchase Tickets link.
- Follow instructions to register for pass and download the Token Transit app.
Already have a Token Transit account?
Riders with an existing Token Transit account will need to refresh the app for the changes to take effect. Tap the refresh (two arrows) button on the home screen in the upper left corner.
Your coupon code with be retained in your Token Transit account for future purchases. If there is a change in your university affiliation, you will need to login again with your HawkID to get a new coupon code. If you are no longer a university faculty, staff or student, you can still purchase passes at the regular rate (see below).

Not a University of Iowa student, faculty, or staff member?
Passes are available for purchase by the general public via the 380Express website. One-way fares can be paid in exact change or by using the Token Transit App. The 10-ride pass and the monthly unlimited pass are available only using the Token Transit App. A discount is available to seniors (60+ years) or to disabled riders. Helpful Tips
Once an individual pass is activated to board the bus it must be used within 30 minutes before it expires. After activating a pass, simply show the image on the token transit app to the driver as you board the bus and enjoy the ride.
