Via press release, the Iowa Department of Transportation announced it will hold open-houses in Coralville and Cedar Rapids to discuss the proposed Interregional Express Bus Services. The proposed bus service is a result of an Iowa Commuter Transportation Study to evaluate alternatives for commuter transportation, especially those in the I-380 corridor. The study identified the existing and future commuter needs in the corridor and determined the viability of various commuter transportation alternatives to address those needs.

The public input meetings will be held at the following locations and times.

May 17, 2016 in Coralville
4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at
Coralville Public Library, 1401 5th Street

May 18, 2016 in Cedar Rapids
5:30 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. at
Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, 501 First Street SE
