FY 20 Rates Are Posted
The FY 20 vehicle rental and class-based lease rates are posted on our website.
All customers will be getting a letter in Campus Mail listing the new rate and the MFK that is currently being charged for that vehicle. Also included will be a form to update the contact information for each vehicle. After both forms have been reviewed, please return both forms to Fleet Services, even if there are not any changes.
Fuel Island Construction
The fuel island will be undergoing some renovation in the next several weeks that will result in lane closures. From June 18 until June 21, the south lane will be closed. Then from June 25 to June 28 the north lane will be closed. The busiest times at the fuel island are from 7:00 am to 9:30 am and from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm. So, if possible avoid those times
Do You Know When Your Vehicles Next Oil Change is Due?
Just like the garage where you take your personal vehicle, we put a sticker in the upper left-hand side of your vehicle’s windshield that tells you when the next oil change is due. You do not need to wait for us to call you. You can call us at (319) 335-5105 and set a time that is convenient for you!
New Accident Report That Needs to go in Your Vehicle
Risk Management has just published an updated version of the University’s Vehicle Accident Report. This version is streamlined and requires less information than previous versions. So, please use the link below and replace that old version that is currently in your vehicle with the new and improved version!!

Let Us Tie a String Around Your Finger
Did you know that there is a reminder feature on the Fleet Services Requisition? It is a little check box just above the MFK information. If you check that box, the system will send you an automated reminder at noon the business day before your reservation is scheduled to pick up. That way, if your plans have changed you have enough time to change your vehicle reservation too!
Honest Mike’s Used Cars
We have just posted some new vehicles for sale and more will be posted soon. We will have a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan with just under 79,000 miles, a 2013 Chevy Express 1500 cargo van with just over 24,000 miles, a 2010 Ford F250 with liftgate with less than 43,000 miles and a 2014 Ford E350, 15-passenger van with under 80,000 miles.
We have recently sold a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan (75,500 miles) for $8502, a 2017 Ford Taurus (85,200 miles) for $7900, and a 2010 Ford Ranger 4X4 (35,200 miles) for $10,803. All were below the NADA retail price!!!
