Face masks are no longer required when riding CAMBUS. The new guidance follows the April 18 federal court ruling against the mask requirement on buses, airplanes, trains, and other public transportation and subsequent information from the Transportation and Security Administration.
However, with COVID-19 still present in our community, face masks remain an effective tool for protecting yourself and others against the virus. While not required, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the use of masks while using indoor public transportation.
The university thanks CAMBUS passengers for their compliance with the mask mandate throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
