CAMBUS service alert: 32 Blue Route detour and stop closures at Slater Hall beginning Tuesday, July 15

Due to construction activity on southbound S. Grand Ave near Parking Ramp 4 and eastbound Grand Avenue near Slater Hall, CAMBUS route 32 Blue Route will detour to Melrose Avenue beginning Tuesday, July 15. 

During the detour, the Slater Hall and Grand/Byington stops will be closed. A temporary stop will be available on eastbound Melrose Avenue at the existing Iowa City Transit stop.

It is anticipated that routes will resume service to Slater Hall by Monday, July 28. If the detour ends sooner, a Transit alert will be sent out once service resumes to the Slater Hall and Grand/Byington bus stops.

Riders should view alerts in the Transit app for the most up-to-date information.
