Finkbine Commuter Drive railroad project and CAMBUS impacts
Construction to improve the Finkbine Commuter Drive roadway and railroad tracks begins Monday, May 15. The work will close the entire roadway around the Finkbine railroad tracks. The road is anticipated to be closed through early July. During this time, CAMBUS routes will detour.
We will post and update and email permit holders to confirm when the road will reopen, and detours will end. Until then, all CAMBUS detours and parking accommodations will remain in place to assist permit holders.

51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena
51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena will not operate during the road closure. Two alternative routes will operate instead.

Will provide service between WCTC, Lot 75, and Newton Road. Route serves WCTC, then Lot 75, before proceeding to eastbound Newton Road.
53 VA Loop Shuttle
53 VA Loop Shuttle will provide service between Parking Lot 75 and the VA Loop only.

Tip: When departures are provided as a frequency of service, riders should add the trip length and route frequency to plan (see accommodations section for trip length and frequency).
For example, the trip between Arena and WCTC is 5 minutes and the frequency of service during peak commute times is every 10 minutes. Therefore, plan to be at the Arena bus stop a minimum of 15 minutes before you need to arrive at the WCTC.

Accommodations for Lot 65 permit holders traveling to Newton Road area
UPDATED: During the Finkbine Commuter Drive project, Parking Lot 65 permit holders may choose to temporarily use Parking Lot 55 - Hancher or Parking Lot 85 - Hawkeye Commuter.
- Trips may be more convenient, frequent, or reliable from Parking Lots 55 or 85.
- Parking Lot 55 is a approximately 1 mile from the hospital campus. For Parking Lot 65 permit holders who prefer to walk and cannot due to the sidewalk closure, Parking Lot 55 might work.
Parking Lot 65 permits will be honored in Lot 55 and Lot 85 for the duration of the project to help reduce transportation delays. Please note that if you have been reassigned, you must begin using your reassigned parking location Tuesday, May 30.
