About our services
CAMBUS On-Demand services provide rides within limited service areas to and from existing CAMBUS stops. Riders can request rides via the CAMBUS Now app or by calling the dispatcher to schedule in advance or for the next available ride.

How to use the On-Demand Shuttle
The On-Demand Shuttle stages at the West Campus Transportation Center when it is not providing a ride. Riders may board the On-Demand Shuttle at the WCTC to request a walk-on ride or request a ride remotely through the app or dispatcher. Regardless of how a ride is requested, riders will need a free user account in the CAMBUS Now app to use on-demand services.
There are a few options for creating your user account:

Riders can download the app and create their account (the app is available for download now)

Riders can call CAMBUS dispatch to request a ride and dispatch can create an account for a rider over the phone

Riders can board the On-Demand Shuttle at the West Campus Transportation Center and a driver can create an account for the rider

In the CAMBUS Now app, provide your desired pick-up location, drop-off location, and what time you would like your ride.

The app will confirm your ride and provide directions to the pick-up location

Call the CAMBUS dispatcher at 319-335-8633 (option 1)

Provide your phone number so the dispatcher can look up your rider account
