The basis of this program is to recognize a Parking and Transportation employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to be of assistance to a member of the public, faculty, staff or student. Recognition is acknowledged with a thank you note sent to the employee and their supervisor on behalf of the nominator. The following are guiding principles for the Staff Recognition "Thank You" Program:

• Members of the public, faculty, staff or students may submit a thank you.
• All current Parking and Transportation employees are eligible to receive a staff recognition Thank You note.
• Recognition forms will be submitted electronically, and the nominator will receive an electronic acknowledgement.
• The employee’s division manager will send the thank you note to the employee.
