9:05 a.m. June 25 –The semi accident has been cleared and regular service has resumed.

An accident involving a semi the morning of June 25 is blocking the intersection of Riverside and N. Riverside Drive causing 31 Red Route and 32 Blue Route to detour. Riders can continue to board at Hancher bus stop, but should anticipate delays.

Newton Road stops

The detour is via River Street and Wolf Avenue. Due to the detour, 31 Red Route and 32 Blue Route are unable to serve these stops: VA Hospital, Hardin, MERF, Newton Road Ramp, PBDB, and Student Health.

Riders needing to travel between Hancher and these stops can board at Hancher, alight at the Health Sciences Interchange, and then board a 42 Hawkeye-Pentacrest or 52 Finkbine-Pentacrest. If needing to return to Hancher, take these steps in reverse.
