The skyway between the Hawkeye Parking Ramp and UI Health Care facilities will be closed Saturday, Sept. 20. This closure is required to add finishing details to the new skyway.

Impact

During the closure, pedestrian traffic will detour to the sidewalk below the skyway. The skyway between HPR3 and the hospital will remain open.

Please observe and follow all posted signage and use caution around work areas. For your safety and the safety of the construction crew, do not enter closed areas. 

Detour details

While the skyway is closed between Hawkeye Parking Ramp and UI Health Care facilities, please take the sidewalk at ground level beneath the skyway. You may then use the stairs or elevator in the Parking Ramp 3 lobby to gain access to the skyway between Parking Ramp 3 and medical facilities as needed.
