The Parking and Transportation Department is committed to promoting campus accessibility through mobility solutions for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors. In addition to fixed-route bus services, CAMBUS also operates a door-to-door paratransit bus service, called "Bionic Bus".
Due to emergency road repair work on North Riverside Drive, CAMBUS routes 31 Red and 54 Hancher-Newton Road will detour beginning Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
CAMBUS will be adding service during the morning to 31 Red Route and 32 Blue Route and during the evening to 41 Hawk Lot-Hospital and 42 Hawkeye-Pentacrest beginning Monday, Nov. 28.
CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 26. Academic service resumes Sunday, Nov. 28. Riders should use the Transit App to see estimated departures or see schedules on the Routes, Schedules, and Maps webpage.
University of Iowa CAMBUS routes will detour beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23 and remain on detour through Saturday, Sept. 24 due to the Iowa City Soul and Blues Festival.
In recognition of the Labor Day holiday, Parking and Transportation offices will be closed and services will be modified Saturday, Sept. 3 through Sunday, Sept. 4. Standard academic weekday service will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
University of Iowa CAMBUS routes will detour beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 due to Stanley Museum of Art events. The detours will remain through the end of the night.
