Our records indicate this vehicle is registered to an employee of the University of Iowa. A parking citation was issued because university policy does not allow unauthorized employee vehicles to park in Hospital Parking Ramps 1, 2, or 4 during reserved parking hours.
Cancel the violation in three easy steps
Our system that monitors parking facilities is unable to verify if an employee is parked while at work or while at an appointment. The system is also not able to verify who is using the vehicle (family member of employee, etc).
Employees or authorized vehicle users (family members, etc) are able to complete this form. Please follow the steps below to cancel a citation when using an employee vehicle for patient care:
Optional - Attach a Patient Parking Pass. Requests with submitted Patient Parking Passes are processed immediately and may not have to be verified by UI Hospitals & Clinics.
Scan or take a photo of the pass from your clinic or printed from your UI Hospitals & Clinics MyChart account. You can also access the parking pass via MyChart on a smart phone or computer and then take a screenshot to attach image. To access a Patient Parking Pass in the patient's UI MyChart account, click the “Visits” menu, then click on the “Patient Parking Pass” link.
Please complete the required fields below to enable the Parking and Transportation Department to verify appointments with UI Hospitals & Clinics. UI Hospitals & Clinics is only authorized to verify an appointment of the patient and no medical information is accessed in compliance with HIPAA privacy guidelines.
