Due to a temporary staffing shortage, service during the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, Dec. 24 will be reduced for the following routes: 34 Research Park, 41 Hawk Lot-Hospital, 42 Hawkeye-Pentacrest, 51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena, and 52 Finkbine-Pentacrest.
Riders are encouraged to use the Transit App to see real-time location of buses to plan their transportation.
Route 62 On-Demand Shuttle will begin service early at 7 p.m. to better support riders impacted by the service changes.
Wednesday, Dec. 24 details
34 Research Park
Beginning at 12 p.m., route 34 Research Park will provide departures approximately every 60 minutes.
41 Hawk Lot - Hospital
3 p.m. – 5 p.m., route 41 Hawk Lot-Hospital will provide departures every 10-12 minutes.
5 p.m. – 8 p.m., route 41 Hawk Lot-Hospital will provide departures every 20 minutes.
8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., service provided by 62 On-Demand Shuttle.
42 Hawkeye-Pentacrest
12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., route 42 Hawkeye-Pentacrest will provide departures every 40 minutes
After 3:30 p.m., riders on the Pentacrest will take 31 Red Route or 32 Blue Route to the West Campus Transportation Center stop to transfer to 41 Hawk Lot-Hospital or 62 On-Demand Shuttle.
7 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., riders on the Pentacrest can request a ride via 62 On Demand Shuttle between Pentacrest and any university stop.
51 Hospital-Finkbine Arena
12 p.m. – 9 p.m., route 51 Hospital-Finkbine Arena will provide departures every 12 minutes.
After 9 p.m., there are no changes for 62 On-Demand Shuttle service.
52 Finkbine-Pentacrest
12 p.m. – 8 p.m., route 52 Finkbine-Pentacrest will provide departures approximately every 30 minutes
8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., riders on the Pentacrest will take 31 Red Route or 32 Blue Route to the West Campus Transportation Center stop to transfer to 51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena or 62 On-Demand Shuttle.
62 On-Demand Shuttle
7 p.m. – 12:30 a.m., route 62 On-Demand Shuttle will provide service.
Riders can schedule a ride in the CAMBUS Now app or request by calling dispatch at 319-335-8633 or by asking driver at the West Campus Transportation Center.
