Department Parking Portal

Parking and Transportation has developed an online resource, the Departmental Portal, to capture information associated with renewing and maintaining departmental permits. University departments can use the portal to:

  • Renew or decline current departmental parking permits
  • Assign employees and license plates to department permits and placards
  • Submit MFK for permit payment to workflow.  (Department MFKs will be charged annually after September 1st)
  • Assign up to 3 alternate contacts for your department to maintain vehicle and account information

The department parking portal cannot be used to add new permits. Contact our office to request new permits.  Please use the Cancel Permit Form to cancel a permit.

Assigning an employee to a department surface or ramp permit type

Departments that have a surface or ramp permit are able to add employees to the permit even if the employee does not have a personal parking permit. Learn more about adding an employee to your department permit.

Adding a secondary contact

Add up to three additional contacts to help manage your departments permit assignments.

Assigning an employee to a Departmental Business Placard (DBP)

Assigning an employee to a DBP is required for an employee to use the DBP on campus. Learn more about assigning employees in your department to a DBP.

Visit the Departmental Business Placard Guide page to read about the rules and qualifications to use a DBP.
