Due to the pandemic, CAMBUS and Parking Operations are working strategically to reduce transit ridership from Parking Lot 85, Hawkeye Commuter during the winter months. Parking Operations is temporarily relocating permit holders beginning Nov. 9 from Parking Lot 85 to closer, more convenient and walkable parking locations through the west campus.

Due to these parking relocations, CAMBUS will be temporarily reducing service on the Hawk Lot-Hospital route beginning Monday, Nov. 9. The Hawk Lot-Hospital route will provide 20-minute service frequency from 4:40 a.m. through 8:40 p.m. on weekdays.

The Hawkeye-Pentacrest route schedule is not changing as a result of this temporary location. The Hawkeye-Pentacrest route will continue to provide 20-minute service frequency on weekdays. The On-Demand Shuttle will continue to be available on weeknights from 8:45 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. for rides to and from Parking Lot 85.

Some of the Parking Lot 85 service is being reallocated to the Hospital-Finkbine/Arena route during morning and evening commute times to help accommodate permit holders reassigned to Parking Lot 65, Finkbine Commuter.
