CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Dec. 20 through Sunday, Jan. 18. Academic service resumes Monday, Jan. 20, 2025. CAMBUS will operate academic weekend schedules on Monday, Jan. 19 due to the university holiday.

Secure bicycle parking permits are now available for purchase at Hawkeye Parking Ramp. The enclosed bike parking at the ramp offers secure storage for up to 50 bicycles with access permissions provided by University of Iowa ID cards.

CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Nov. 22 through Saturday, Nov. 29. Academic service resumes Sunday, Nov. 30.

The East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) has announced that the 380 Express bus service will continue through 2029. The service's partnership with the University of Iowa provides discounted bus passes on the bus line between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. 

CAMBUS provides shuttles to Carver-Hawkeye Arena area for select basketball games and wrestling matches for the 2025-26 winter sports season.

Events starting during the evening will increase traffic around Carver-Hawkeye Arena and may cause delays.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 20, CAMBUS Bionic Bus applicants can apply for service through an online portal called Spare Eligibility. In addition to submitting an application, the portal allows riders to track their Bionic Bus eligibility status.

On Monday, Sept. 8, public parking at the Recreation Center Lot adjacent to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center transitioned to a mobile payment zone with payment required 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In addition to the extra shuttle service, regular CAMBUS routes are modified during home football games on Saturdays.
