Parking Lot 56, Mayflower Residence Hall - This lot is located behind Mayflower Residence Hall. You must be residing in Mayflower Hall to qualify for this permit. The parking permit price can be found on our rates page.

Permits are sold on a first come, first serve basis and will sell out quickly. If all Mayflower Residence Hall permits are sold, you will need join the Mayflower Residence Hall waitlist in the Parking Portal and order a Student Hawkeye Storage Permit.

Students on the Mayflower waitlist will be offered a space to park in Parklawn /Parking Lot 38 as space allows. Students are asked to respond promptly to the email they receive from the Parking Office.

Mayflower resident rate for 2022-23 school year in Parking Lot 38 is $189.00/semester.  Effective 2023-24, all permits sold in Parking Lot 38 will be sold at the approved Surface A rate.  Availability in Parking Lot 38 varies annually and is subject to change based on campus needs.  

How to order your virtual permit

Log into the Parking Portal, then the Parking Lot 56, Mayflower Residence Hall will be an option, if available. Permits are valid starting every year on Aug. 16 through May 15 of the following year. Permits are billed by semester and will financially renew on Jan. 1 for the spring Semester unless cancelled beforehand. 

Make sure all vehicle information is entered accurately as your license plate will be your permit. Failure to accurately provide your vehicle information will result in a citation. 

How to cancel your permit

To cancel your permit you will need to complete the Cancel Permit Form. You will be charged for the permit until it is cancelled or expires.  You will receive a refund if cancelled before the end of the semester as we prorate by half month. If you fail to cancel your permit you are responsible for the time the permit was active. Your refund will be based on the date you complete the cancellation form.
