The Field House lot will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 so parking surfaces can be power washed. 

University of Iowa’s CAMBUS recognizes Kristina Dibert as the 2023 Support Person of the Year. Dibert began working at CAMBUS as a bus operator and was promoted to student mechanic in July 2021.

 The west section of Hospital Parking Ramp 4 and the entrance/exit from For the Kids Way will be closed beginning the evening of Friday, June 23. The east section and entrance/exit from Grand Avenue will be open for use and access. 

On Saturday, June 10, CAMBUS co-hosted the Iowa Public Transit Association's State Bus Roadeo. 18 drivers representing 8 transit agencies across Iowa competed in large bus and mini-bus courses in Parking Lot 55 – Hancher in Iowa City.

University of Iowa’s CAMBUS recognizes Scott Kerno as the 2023 Driver of the Year. Transit service providers across Iowa each nominate an employee annually to be honored by the Iowa Public Transit Association (IPTA) for their commitment to providing safe and friendly service.

The vehicle entrance to HPR4 from For the Kids Way will be closed. Please use the South Grand entrance for HPR4.  

Please remove vehicles from the west section of Parking Lot 55, as indicated on the map, before 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 8. The impacted spaces will re-open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.

On June 3, CAMBUS drivers competed in a “bus roadeo.” The annual bus roadeo is a friendly competition amongst CAMBUS student staff to test their driving skills in a ten-part obstacle course.

Maintenance will require a temporary closure of this parking facility from 4 p.m. Friday, June 9 through 3 a.m. Monday, June 12 .
