CAMBUS will be adding service during the morning to 31 Red Route and 32 Blue Route and during the evening to 51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena beginning Monday, Nov. 27.

CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Nov. 25.

The first new road to be built on campus in more than a decade will connect Newton Road to the fountain entrance of University of Iowa Health Care, a project necessary to make way for construction of the new inpatient tower.

Service for CAMBUS route 54 Hancher-Newton Road during the morning and evening commute will resume on Monday, Oct. 23.

CAMBUS will provide shuttle service from Parking Lot 55 (Hancher) to near Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

University of Iowa CAMBUS will begin hiring this month for demand-response drivers (DRD), a new student position. Creating this position will help CAMBUS to more quickly fill gaps in its staff and better meet the growing number of rides on Bionic service.

Due to a driver staff shortage, CAMBUS will discontinue route 33 South Campus Shuttle as of Monday, Oct. 8. The last day for route 33 service will be Friday, Oct. 6.

ECICOG announced its 380 Express buss pass program will continue through June 2026. The service's partnership with the University of Iowa provides discounted bus passes for transportation between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
