CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Dec. 16 through Sunday, Jan. 14. Academic service resumes Monday, Jan. 15, 2023. CAMBUS will operate academic weekend schedules on Monday, Jan. 15 due to the university holiday.

Starting January of 2024, UI Parking and Transportation will charge a rate of $0.16 per kWh for the use of public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on campus. This decision is in response to the State of Iowa passing the Electric Fuel Excise Tax, which taxes electricity used to charge EVs.

CAMBUS routes will detour away from Slater Hall Nov. 20- 21 due to a road closure. Routes will instead serve the Iowa City Transit stop on Melrose Avenue, south of Slater Hall.

CAMBUS will be adding service during the morning to 31 Red Route and 32 Blue Route and during the evening to 51 Hospital-Finkbine/Arena beginning Monday, Nov. 27.

The first new road to be built on campus in more than a decade will connect Newton Road to the fountain entrance of University of Iowa Health Care, a project necessary to make way for construction of the new inpatient tower.

Service for CAMBUS route 54 Hancher-Newton Road during the morning and evening commute will resume on Monday, Oct. 23.
