CAMBUS Scholarships have been awarded to five student employees for the spring 2024 semester.

CAMBUS will operate academic routes and schedules beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16. Due to the university holiday, academic weekend schedules will operate Monday, Jan. 15.

The closure is expected to be long-term, and pedestrians should find an alternative route.

The new Parking Lot 14 is located north of Melrose Avenue just east of the previous lot and is ready for public use.

CAMBUS will operate break service Saturday, Dec. 16 through Sunday, Jan. 14. Academic service resumes Monday, Jan. 15, 2023. CAMBUS will operate academic weekend schedules on Monday, Jan. 15 due to the university holiday.

Starting January of 2024, UI Parking and Transportation will charge a rate of $0.16 per kWh for the use of public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on campus. This decision is in response to the State of Iowa passing the Electric Fuel Excise Tax, which taxes electricity used to charge EVs.

CAMBUS routes will detour away from Slater Hall Nov. 20- 21 due to a road closure. Routes will instead serve the Iowa City Transit stop on Melrose Avenue, south of Slater Hall.
