Student athletes who register their vehicle with the Athletics Compliance Office through the online form FrontRush may purchase a student athlete parking permit. Permits are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Student athletes living in a residence hall do not qualify for a student athlete permit.
Student permits can be purchased through the online Parking Portal starting Aug. 1.
Please carefully review all the information on this page so that you properly use your permit.
Permit dates
Academic year permits are valid starting every year on Aug. 16 through May 15 of the following year. Permits will automatically bill for the spring semester on Jan. 1 if not cancelled beforehand.
Summer permits go on sale beginning May 1 and are valid starting every year on May 16 through Aug. 15.
Payment and parking charges
Athletics covers half the cost of the permit if the student has completed the FrontRush compliance form. Student athlete parking permits are billed to the student's U-Bill so that Athletics can verify registration in FrontRush and share the permit cost.
Permits are pro-rated by the half month and can be cancelled at any time. Permits will automatically bill for the spring semester on Jan. 1 if not cancelled beforehand. See cancellation details on this page for more information.

Applying for parking permits
Once you know what permit or lot you’d like, you can log in to the Parking Portal with your Hawk ID and password to order. Your license plate number will be your permit, so make sure to have that information available when ordering. Students will receive an email confirmation once parking credentials are valid.
Visit the Parking Portal Info page to learn more about navigating the parking portal.
Change vehicle information
Students can have one vehicle registered at any time, but vehicle information can be quickly updated in the Parking Portal by clicking “replace vehicle”.
For step-by-step instructions on how to update your vehicle, see the Parking Portal Info page.
Vehicles must be updated before you park on campus. If the vehicle is not updated before parking, you may receive a citation.
Canceling your permit and refunds
To cancel your virtual permit, you need to complete the Cancel Permit Form. You will be charged for the permit until it is cancelled or the permit expires.
You will receive a refund if you cancel your permit before the end of the semester. Permit fees are prorated by the half month. For example, if you cancel your permit on the 1st through the 15th of the month, your final charge will only be a half-month's charge. Permits cancelled from the 16th to the end of the month will pay a full month’s charge.
