The new Hawkeye Parking Ramp is now open! This parking ramp is designed for employee use. Although patients and patient visitors may park here, they are encouraged to park in the ramps reserved for patients – Parking Ramps 1, 2, and 4.

Open for use 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, except University Holidays.

Restricted for special events, maintenance and emergencies as indicated.

Oversize Vehicles must use surface lots. Call Parking Dispatch at 319-335-8312 to identify locations for vehicles that cannot be accommodated in standard stalls.

Staffing and Assistance

Attendant on duty; hours will vary.

24/7 assistance is available to parking dispatch through all entry and exit lane equipment. Press the “Push for Help” button on any parking equipment to speak with a dispatcher through the intercom.

Call Parking Dispatch at 319-335-8312 to:

  • Report malfunctioning equipment, broken doors, or sign, light and other issues.
  • Request Motorist Assistance for a jump start or vehicle locate.

Call the Office of Campus Safety at (non-emergency) 319-335-5022 to:

  • Report vehicle damage that may have occurred in the facility.
  • Locked keys in vehicles.
Call 911 for emergencies.

Parking Rates

Standard Rate: The hourly rate that is charged for parking in an hourly space on campus up to the daily maximum. Presenting a validation when exiting may reduce some or all of your parking fee.

Payment can be made in all exit lanes via pay stations.

Accepted payment types include cash and credit card (Visa/MasterCard/Discover). All exit lanes accept credit card, only select lanes accept cash. Please see lane signs for guidance.
