Newly hired CAMBUS student are eligible for a $1,000 hiring incentive bonus after meeting milestones in the hiring process. As of August 21, 2022, the starting wage has increased to $17.50/hour with raises every 6 months.

Parking and Transportation improves parking system with LPR technology

University of Iowa Parking and Transportation has implemented a license plate recognition (LPR) system that allows a vehicle license plate to also be used as the university parking permit. Beginning Aug. 1, most faculty, staff, and student permit holders will not need to display a physical permit in their vehicles.
