The Iowa Board of Regents has approved rates for the 2027 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. Parking rates for July 2026 – June 2027 are published in this article.

To provide clean and safe parking facilities, Parking Ramp 1 will be closed for maintenance. This project is part of our annual maintenance plan that helps ensure safe and long-lasting facilities. We apologize for any inconvenience this project may cause. 

CAMBUS summer 2026 service operates May 16- August 21. Academic service resumes Saturday, August 22.

Due to the university holiday, Cambus will not run shuttles or regular services for the July 3-4 Savannah Bananas event. For event details or questions, visit hawkeyesports.com/savannahbananas.

Contractors will be performing preventative maintenance such as concrete repairs and recoating surfaces throughout Parking Ramp 4. Patients and visitors will still have access to the ramp as needed. 

To provide clean and safe parking facilities, Parking Ramp 2 will be closed for maintenance 4 p.m. Friday, May 1 through 3 a.m. Monday, May 4.

Starting Wednesday, April 1, Fleet Services’ administrative office hours are changing to 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Due to construction activity, the Dental College bus stop will be relocated 250 feet east March 30-April 3.

Cambus will operate break service Saturday, March 14 through Saturday, March 21. Academic service resumes Sunday, March 22.

UI Cambus is piloting new safety equipment on two buses that is intended to help transit operators be more aware of vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists, and prevent collisions.
