Beginning Monday, Oct. 20, CAMBUS Bionic Bus applicants can apply for service through an online portal called Spare Eligibility. In addition to submitting an application, the portal allows riders to track their Bionic Bus eligibility status.

The University of Iowa homecoming parade is Friday, Sept. 26, 2025. Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Due to these street closures, CAMBUS routes will detour beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Contractors will be performing work throughout Parking Ramp 1. Work in the ramp will take place in two phases.

On Monday, Sept. 8, public parking at the Recreation Center Lot adjacent to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center transitioned to a mobile payment zone with payment required 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Levels 3 and 4 of Parking Ramp 1 will be closed for maintenance. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter levels 3 and 4 starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5. The ramp will reopen for use at 3 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8.

Starting Monday, Aug. 18, patient parking ambassadors will begin to help ensure parking is available for patients and their families in Parking Ramp 2.

The elevator bank in North Campus Ramp will close for maintenance from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
