Charter committees advise the university president and administration on several topics.  Charter committees are enabled per Section 2.8 Advisory Bodies of the University Operation Manual.  

The Parking and Transportation Charter Committee is also established under the University Operations Manual Section 2.8(16) Committee on Parking and Transportation Charter.  The committee is comprised of members from University Student Government, Faculty Senate, and Staff Council. The committee is charged with advising many aspects of Parking and Transportation including but not limited to parking, transit, bicycles, fees and facilities.

Parking and Transportation Committee meetings are held six times each year during the fall and spring semesters based on member availability.
